Biggest Accomplishment:My ultimate goal as a coach is not only developing talented, well-rounded athletes, but more importantly developing successful, well rounded people. Sports are instrumental in teaching life lessons & developing skills outside of the classroom. Resiliency, leadership, accountability, and teamwork are important skills that transfer to everyday situations. I am most proud of the fact that I get to teach these skills daily utilizing the shared passion of cheerleading.
Lakesha’s Motto: “It’s not about talent. It’s about dependability, consistency, being coachable, and understanding what you need to do to improve.” – Bill Belichick
Lakesha’s Coaching Style: I would hope to be described as fair, honest, respectful, and a motivator. I require that an athlete always strives to practice & perform at their best. “Practice doesn’t make perfect. Perfect practice makes perfect.” – Vince Lombardi
